Description: As a new restaurant to Omaha, The Grey Plume focuses on seasonality and sustainability. We change our menu often, basing our cuisine on local farmer's supply. When possible we preserve produce from Nebraska and the region at harvest for the winter months. The Grey Plume works in partnership with The Green Restaurant Association and is the first and only Certified Green Restaurant in Nebraska. Enjoy the comfortably elegant dining atmosphere for dinner.

ambience, fresh superbly prepared food, friendly, helpful waitstaff - the grey plume has it all. everything is farm to table - including the wood planks floor which used to be a Nebraska barn. the small, warm environment is relaxed and designed for you to enjoy a wonderful meal with good conversation. every dish is presented invitingly - even the butter... I wasn't sure what to expect at The Grey Plume - knowing only that it was fine dining, seasonally driven and the "Nation's Greenest Restaurant". We were greeted at the hostess stand by Chef/Owner Clayton Chapman in his chef whites. He recognized my parents from previous visits - nice touch - and welcomed them back. Although the space looks large... More

Right next to Boiler Room restaurant, this is the best place to eat in Omaha by my dining experiences. And I live in and love Omaha, so I've tried the places to try. When people think of this place, they'll mostly think it's expensive. But for the average restaurant, you'll only pay a bit extra in most cases. In return,... More

What an amazing place this is. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered for dinner. The presentation of each entree was like an art piece and the tastes were phenomenal.

A Varied and delightful assortment of taste treats- each more interesting than the previous. Service was perfect and Chef Clayton came out to talk with us- It was a treat!

From the appetizers, to the entree's, and then the desserts this was a dining experience that I would encourage all to experience. I went with a diverse group of people for a business dinner and each person was able to find something that suited their palate. We each got to share and taste several dishes and we all had great... 5 star restaurant at reasonable prices. We have eaten at some of the best in Las vegas. This restaurant is comparable at half the price.

The food is terrible and over priced. The vegetarian salad is sweet and sour in a bad way on both counts. The bison burger is served as a sandwich but on a dry biscuit that falls apart on the first bite, and its flavorless. The lamb was so salty it was a chore to eat, and as for salt, the... More

While I could rave on about the food which is some of the best in Omaha, I really want to rave on about the service. Whether you are sitting in the bar area or the restaurant, you are always treated like royalty. On one of our last visits, we were just sitting at the bar and the sommelier even came... More

I wanted to like this place SO much! I greatly appreciate any restaurant that goes the extreme extra mile to been “green” and to serve only seasonal, local (as much as possible) food. Being a true “greenie” visiting from Seattle, I had communicated via email with the chef/owner with a question I had and he gave me a wonderful, very... More
