My husband and I visited this restaurant at Easter. We had perused the menu outside the establishment many times before and I personally had always thought it was a bit too meaty and traditional French for me. Anyway after having read other good reviews we decided we would try it for ourselves and are so glad that we did. I... More

We walked past on a wet Thursday night & the restauarant was full to bursting & very noisy! When we went on Friday, the resatuarant was busy & buzzing (definitely popular with the local people). The menu has an amazing array of local specialities some of which might not be to everyone's taste (pig's ears, horse meat etc). However, we... More

We have dined here twice, the first fime on a Thursday off season, the second on a Saturday high season, and both were very good experiences. This is how restaurants in France used to be but seldom are nowadays. Good traditional food, generous portions, friendly service and very good value. Dorade Royale - three large fillets when you usually get... More

We were in Dives sur mer for a week and ended up dinng here times. It really is everything a French Bistro should be, classic dishes are done exceptionally well and the staff and in particular, the owner/chef are very friendly. Add to that, the fact that it's good value. The placee is a real winner

This restaurant is so good. The food is delicious and so tasteful. Its a real authentic Frech bistro, and the atmosphere is great! For main course we had beef which were cooked for 72 hours, and it just tasted amazing. The portions are big, so you wont go home hungry. Try it!

We were in Dives for just one week but came here 3 evenings as the food, service and atmosphere were so good. The 3 course Table d'Hote was incredible value, generous portions of very agreeable dishes. The food is typical French Bistro, fish soup, pates, duck, mussels, good frites, etc. and it is the sort of place we would all... More

This stunning little French restaurant discloses nothing of it's perfection from the smart pavement front. Peer through the windows at 12 o'clock and you'll sea most of the town inside! To ensure a table it is advisable but not essential to book, if none are available you can reserve a table but may have to return up to an hour... More
