Banh Xeo is the exceptional appetizer I cannot pass up, but their other dishes have never disappointed me or friends for the past 7 years, and we have tried maybe 15 different items. Always fast service and fresh ingredients. When solo or with friends in the International District on the way to Dim Sum, we have to stop here first... More

I picked up a taste for Vietnamese food while working in Tampa of all places. This place is very good with a lot of spices and flavors. I ordered cahn chu ca which is a "sour" soup with catfish, pinapple, tomato and some other veggies I can't identify. It was overall very good. Looking forward to trying the pho the... More

Not sure why this restaurant gets such high reviews. Maybe a lot of tourists reviewed it? If you live in Seattle, you likely know more flavorful Asian restaurants than this one. To start, it's a very dark, windowless restaurant. Apparently, before the state smoking ban, people used to smoke like crazy in the space, and it still smells faintly like... More

The restaurant is worth visiting, but not, I think, worth revisiting. I found cheap ingredients, and a predictable preparation.

My friends who live in Seattle brought me here, and I walked in not really sure what to expect. The menu blew me away. There were things that I had not seen since I lived in Vietnam! We ordered a few appetizers and several different dishes and everyone was impressed. Very good, fresh and authentic Vietnamese food. I even had... More

I wouldn't call this the best but it was very good. We went on the early side and din't need a reservation although it filled up as we headed toward 7 p.m. The portions are generous. The service is very good and the setting is very nice and simple. Good value.

Excellent food for an excellent price. We were recommended this by a local friend and everything was super tasty. I would like to go back and try something different because I kept looking at everyone's food with plate envy, but we were too full to order more.

Friends of ours rave about this restaurant over Tamarind Tree, but I think the food is really similar, especially since the chef used to work at TT. The real benefit is it's actually less expensive than TT, which to my mind is still a good deal. My only criticisms of Green Leaf is it's a bit oilier in the fried... More

as usual, the portions were enough for two meals; the price was about the same as elsewhere but it was very very good.

You can hardly spot the restaurant from the street bc it is in a basement but the ambiance is great. If you have ever had high quality Vietnamese food you can recognize the amazing aroma immediately!!! This is it!! Best fried rice I have ever tasted!
