Great food; I thought the pricing was decent. The service was terrific. very creative stuff - especially in the desserts. Try their brunch on Sunday.

Here I expected a beautiful art exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum and ended up with a serendipitous experience in food and service at the aptly named Taste.
From the moment I stepped inside I was cheerfully greeted and seated. The atmosphere is modern, filled with light from the large windows looking out on First Avenue where pedestrians and cars...

Taste is a local haunt but a welcome sit down for visitors to the museum as well. The luncheon menu is very well priced, service is excellent and the chef has combined healthy menu items with standbys like burgers. We ate here for a business lunch and it was perfect for private conversation but the activity out on the street...

To avoid the overpriced menu, I usually buy a grab-n-go sandwich by the cashier's counter when visiting the Seattle Art Museum. But since it was my birthday, I wanted something a little bit special. We were shown to a tiny table since the place was packed. The menu was a little more interesting than usual. We didn't want to eat...

After visiting the Old Masters exhibition I enjoyed lunch at Taste. The food was delicious, the service very good and the prices reasonable. I will certainly be returning to try another menu item.
Whether it's busy or not, no one should be subject to inattentive service at a restaurant.
We are locals who have enjoyed interesting food and gracious service in the past at TASTE. It was not to be on this not-that-busy Friday night.
The restaurant reeked of an unpleasant fishy smell, the menu focused on heavy British and "winter" foods with...

Between meetings at a nearby hotel, we exited for a quick lunch. The restaurant was very busy but they were able to seat us quickly and accommodate a tight timeline. 2 of the 3 diners had the steak and blue cheese salad, and raved about it, and I went with the server recommended tuna and quinoa dish. I had asked...

We just stumbled into Taste when walking around Seattle, and liked the lunch so much we returned for dinner.
My husband and I recently visited the SAM on our anniversary, and stopped in to TASTE for a quick pre-museum cocktail and small bites. We were there for happy hour, and the featured cocktail was the Wabi Sabi, a delicious sparkling sake drink that has since made me seek out and buy the sake for myself! We also tried the...

To say that TASTE is convenient is the best thing to be said about this restaurant. It is inside the Seattle Art Museum. The menu reads well; but alas, nothing we ordered remotely resembled the description on the menu. One meal referred to chicken breast with Brussels sprouts and spaetzle. It consisted of a few pieces of chicken, shaved vegetable,...
