Description: Crush began as the dream of owners Nicole and Jason Wilson in 2003 when they set out to remodel and build an original 1903 Victorian house into a Modern American Restaurant that showcases the best in Jason's Cuisine and seasonal ingredients of the Northwest. Opening in 2005 CRUSH has quickly become a destination for an unparalleled dining experience in Seattle. Jason's approach and inspiration to food has been noted as Modern American, with personal influences and French technique. Using the best ingredients, focusing on quality first, the seasons & relationships with the best producers and growers dictating the ingredients has been the philosophy to our cuisine. Jason was chosen by Food and Wine magazine in 2006 as a "Best New Chef", nominated in 2008 for the Best Chef Northwest by the James Beard Foundation among many other accolades. A similar approach to our extensive wine list has given Crush multiple years of national accolades from wine press.

Food here can be exotic. Restaurant likes to label dishes with names based on appearance or other characteristics of the food, even though they are comprised of unusual ingredients - but it always tasted good!

I will start by saying the service is impeccable! Very friendly, helpful and charming. Sadly, that is where the nice part of my review ends. The food arrives in VERY small portions, a few bites or spoons full. My entrée was very bland and although I was hungry and the portion was small, I did not finish as I didn't... More

Creative food preparation and artistic presentation done within a welcoming atmosphere and by the most exceptional service staff we've experienced in a long while - this is Crush. We are not particularly adventuresome eaters and don't regularly seek out gourmet or "cutting-edge" places and usually seek the more traditional warmth of Italian restaurants. The recommendations were great, however, and we... More

If you're an adventurous diner, or just curious about food trends, this is a great destination. The award-winning chef does a fine job executing newer techniques like "sous-vide," and the warm and friendly servers are more than happy to explain what that means without making you feel like you shouldn't have to ask. Plating is stunning, with food that looks... More

Romantic setting, we sat where you could see the three chefs working in the kitchen. Very cool dishes with creative flair. One dish was too salty, by accident probably, and servers were very nice about it. They really went above and beyond to make our meal special and enjoyable. Couldn't recommend more highly. There is clearly a lot of heart... More

Had the great fortune to have dinner at Crush on 3/2/13. In a town full of great restaurants Crush stands out for incredible food, outstanding and attentive service and great ambience. The food presentation was unsurpassed. I had a beet salad that was a work of art and quite possibly the best short ribs I've had in some time. It... More

The restaurant is located in an old home but has been decorated in a very modern style. The wine list is exqusite and perfectly complements the food. I highly recomend.

Wine list is great but food in nothing to talk about. Very expensive but not worth it. Go to Zoe's instead.

Stumbled on this place and it was like Jed Clampett shooting at some food and striking it rich. Situated in a house, it is easy to overlook but pure gold when you walk inside. I had the fois gras and the suckling pig--Wow! Definitely would go back the next time I am in Seattle.

Couldn't resist the title, but it's true. I dream of going back to this restaurant even as I walk out the door from having eaten there (and I have eaten here maybe 50 times). Every time we eat here my wife and i wonder why we eat any place else in Seattle. Chef Jason Wilson is a James beard Award... More
