Love the food here. Came for a happy hour with work and was pleasantly surprised. The food is super good!
So, my wife and I had been going to Row House for brunch pretty regularly and getting served by a wonderful waitress, Jen. She was always attentive and sweet, no matter how busy things got. Jen always got our order right, and the food was served promptly. The food here has always been fresh and tasty. A few months ago... More
First and foremost, the food here is delicious. The 100-layer french toast is fantastic, as are their eggs benedict. And perhaps most importantly, they serve grits! The place has a very cozy feel to it, and the seating area is fairly small. This is a great place for a date, or just to bring some friends. I'll be back.
While it is a little pricier for lunch, it was great food and a great atmosphere. It also wasn't too crowded which was great considering it is in SLU and it was lunchtime.
Loved the Row House Cafe building and decor. The food, however, was just OK. My party of three was one of two tables in the restaurant, yet our food still took at least 30 minutes. My hot chocolate was served lukewarm. My brioche sliders were good, but my dining companions weren't impressed with their sandwiches. The beet salad my friend... More
We went to RHC because they had an exhibit of wonderful art works by Chris Maynard. I'm not sure I would have gone in, if I were just walking by, but I'm glad we did. Art work was as beautiful as promised, food was fast and great and the coffee just kept coming, which was good, because we loved their... More
It's been 5 months since I ate at Row House Cafe and I'm still dreaming about it. Unfortunately, I don't live anywhere near Seattle and haven't had the opportunity to travel back that way for work, but I have not been able to forget the absolutely delicious lunch I had there with co-workers. The soup was phenomenal and they have... More
I just had to rave about the Row House again. My husband and I spent many lovely summer evenings in the patio area relaxing with cold pomegranate sodas and delicious italian sandwiches. We tried the soups a time or two and got hooked. Now that the weather is colder it's a great excuse to start any meal with one of... More
In a part of Seattle where so many old buildings are being torn down to build towers, Row House survives. It is is in a neighborhood once filled with workers homes that were within walking distance of the South Lake Union Docks. The old homes that became the restaurant have had several incarnations over the years but serve now as... More
Amid the new high rises in South Lake Union, one of the last houses has been saved and turned into the Row House Cafe. The atmosphere is very, very laid back. When I recently went for brunch the waitress brought a jar of cold water, but didn't pour it for us. My orange juice was a plastic bottle of Tropicana.... More
