It is a traditional Austrian restaurant. Roast pork with saurkraut and bread dumpling was delicious. Venison with red cabbage and cranberry sauce was also fantastic. Homemade cinnamon applestrudel with vanilla ice-cream and whipped cream was perfect dessert to end the dinner. Waiters were very attentive. Good value too. It was packed in an evening during the end of the ski... More

The host hates wasting space and will seat you wherever there is space. You will meet new people. All the hearty Austrian classics, nicely done (not a place for 'fine dining'). Reasonable price, given it's St Anton.

Excellent service and athmosphere. Food was good, but they could have more fresh vegetables. We can recommend this place.

A small restaurant, this local delight provides simple, but well-executed, Austrian classics. A common practice, too, is to seat different parties at the same table, creating either an awkward dining tension or a random and chance entertainment to last the night. At first, we were paired with a couple of which only one spoke English. We got by with a... More

We picked out this restaurant due to its location and favorable Trip Advisor recommendation. The entire experience was really great: the food, fabulous wine (Zweigelt Reserva), ambiance, staff and our dog was also welcome, which is usually the case in European restaurants. Our family each had a different meal, from mixed grill to chicken soup, garlic bread to beef goulash... More

Ideal place to meet with friends. Less crowded and less expensive than cafes nearer the Galzig lift. Worth the short walk.

Small stube and full of people. But even it was full, we got table after waiting for just about 20minutes. The atmosphere was nice, they mixed people to same tables just to fill the place - which is reasonable and works here (probably not if you're in some fancy romantic restaurant)! Food was very good, traditional dishes on the menu.... More

Fuhrmannstube is a typical Austrian restaurant the walls are wood panelled, the staff lovely, the food filling, Germanic and very tasty. The menu is varied to cater for all tastes and beer and wine a reasonable price. We had two meals and drinks for about €30, incredible value for a main street restaurant in the Tirol! No need to book... More
