breakfast was like out of mom's kitchen. Except better!, Sorry Mom! Not expensive and the service was like family with no squabbles.

While in New Orleans recently, we were fortunate to be staying right across the street from the Blue Plate Cafe. We ate there twice, and I wish we had eaten there a few more times so I could have tried out more items on the menu. The first time, I ordered Eggs And Cakes, which is two crawfish cakes topped...

Terrific service and breakfast. Open Monday -Friday only ( as I understand), for breakfast and lunch. Charming service, interesting menu, and delicious food and good coffee too.
Stopped in here before we walked through the Garden District. The atmosphere is quaint, the food delicious!!! We received our food very quickly, and it was great. Love the vibe of this place as much as I love the food. Classic jazz music and a diner atmosphere. Pumpkin pancakes with maple cream were wonderful. Also like the creative options on the menu. Breakchetta with goat cheese -- yum! Will try the crawfish cakes next time and I'm looking forward to coming for lunch/ dinner!

I ordered a Cesar Salad and the Salmon entree. My issue is the entree was served only about 4-5 minutes after I received my salad. I had only taken a couple of...

This is an intimate neighborhood restaurant that allows out of towners to feel like a local. While we were there we saw several regulars greeted by name as they walked in. The waitress...
