Great food and atmosphere. Tough to find if you don't know the neighborhood, but worth the trouble.

We waited about a half hour in line just to place are order, but it was worth it.

Saw Domilise's on tv and other reviews very positive. Had an oyster po-boy; my wife had shrimp. Both were pretty good, somewhat expensive ($14 or so), but we didn't generally feel they were worth they hype, price, or drive. Went at 3pm on a Friday and there was no wait, nor other customers.

As a "lived here all my life" New Orleans "uptowner, I can truly say that In its heyday, this was one of the best poboy establishments around. Sorry to say it's no longer true. They don't cook their own roast beef, and their fried seafood is average at best. Many other much better choices for a truly great N.O. poboy.

Watch the guy infront of you and order your Po-boy dressed. Small local shop. Hasn't changed - thank GOD - in 40 years. Fried oyster, fried shrimp and roast beef are the 3 best.

the oyster po boy here was just spectacular. have it with a nice cold root beer. yum.

This place has not changed at all! It is a neighborhood joint (hole in the wall is quite accurate), packed during lunch-- expect to wait. The Roast Beef po-boy is juicy, messy and delicious.
