And I see someone has posted a photo of it. Two others in our group ordered it and both gave it a rave. Salad, entree, a glass of wine, and tip came to $22. Trust me, it's worth standing in line for.

I would be glad to recommend Nero's,though not traditional Italian. Entrees run $15-$23. The mushroom ravioli was tasty.

In general, we have been disappointed with the restaurants in the four corners region. But we tried Nero's because it got so many rave reviews. Add us to the long list of fans. Food is great, but menu is limited. Everything is good though so the limited menu is not a problem. Limited seating and reservations are recommended.

We went on a Sunday night, and had the lovely patio all to ourselves. Our server was great--prompt, fun and knowledgeable. All the food was enjoyed--especially the green chile chicken soup. The Italian margarita was better than I make myself...a real compliment!

We were greeted and seated immediately when we walked in the door.Our waitress was very polite,helpful and attentive.I had the italian stroganoff,which was one of the best dishes i've ever tasted,anywhere.Our only disappointment was we ate here on our last night in Cortez and I wasn't able to try more of the menu.
