Nice decor, but definitely middle of the road food. The "filet mignon" was more likely a top sirloin, but the coffee flavor was good. Don't expect high quality steak.

I usually am resolute when I visit a restaurant but this one will be mixed, so bear with me. I wanted to treat myself to a fine dinning experience, so I out on some nice cloths and went to Stoney River. I had never been there, but I've heard good things so I wanted to try it out. It started...

We visited this past Saturday night to celebrate our friend's birthday. They gave us a private party room even though we didn't ask for one. We all enjoyed the food and everyone raved about the steaks. We had several members of the staff attend to us. They were all delightful and took care of whatever we needed. Though there were...

Staying in the adjacent hotel and given a discount coupon for this restaurant, we opted to try it and had a great time. Menu is limited (we find this is often a good feature) but covers all the basics. I thought it nice that although the entrees come with two specific sides, our server offered to substitute either or both...

For starters we arrived on time for our 5:45 reservation but weren't seated until 6:30.. what's the point in making a ressie?? Seated AT the bar is a couple with their 2 under the age of 3 yrs old children!! They were told twice that kids aren't allowed at the bar, yet they weren't forced to move either, so they...

If you want to be spontaneous on a Saturday night and decide to dine out without reservations, you can be in for a big surprise. Towsontowne Mall, a city within a city, seemed like the place to go. Cheesecake Factory - 40 minute wait for a table for 2; P.F. Chang - 50 minutes. We were just about to head...

We had just spent the afternoon shopping in Towson (on a Saturday) and decided to find a place to eat (without reservations). We had been to Cheesecake Factory - which is right across from Stoney - and had a poor experience. However, I'm big on second chances, so I stopped in Cheesecake to see how long the wait would be...

We have previously been to this restaurant several times and had a great experience each time, with impeccable food and service, with a nice quiet ambiance. Our last visit was the complete opposite. First of all, when we arrived at 8:30 pm on time for our reservation, we were told it would be another half hour-no apologies. When I asked...

I've eaten here for lunch and dinner but had never done happy hour. They have a good selection of wines by the glass for $5. I had the Lincourt pinot noir and it was excellent . The Jack Daniel's shrimp was good too. Good service rounded out the visit. Worth a try if you are in the area.
Why bother making a reservation here??? Ours was for 5:45. We arrive on time only to be told we SHOULD be seated in 30 minutes!! People without reservations were being told 60 minutes, however we witnessed a party of four come in without reservations, be told 60 minutes, yet they were seated seconds before us (party of 3)... While others...
