Hungry Bear BBQ is a great place to eat! It's very affordable and great quality. We were able to feed a family of 6 for around $30! Taco Bell is about the same price for us.. BBQ is much better than fast food!

We ate here twice while on vacation and highly recommend to anybody in the area. The bbq here is some of the best we have had in a while. The pulled pork is the best and what we liked is that it comes out without the bbq sauce, on your table you have 3 different sauces to choose from and...

The one downtown in gatlinburg is the best one. (Its the blue building). Has amazing food. The mild bbq sauce is really good.
I wanted the food to be great since they have so many good reviews, but I cannot. .the food like someone else said was bland. Worse cole slaw I have ever eaten in my life. The chicken was so done it not only fell off the bone it was like mush, and the baked beans. . .just bad. The only...

Had the pulled pork sandwich, ribs and brisket. The pulled pork sand was not sauced, which was fine with me. I added one of the 3 sauces they have on the table. I liked and used their sweet sauce. Also liked their hot sauce, had a tabasco taste. The ribs fell off the bone but only tasted so so. No...

We visited the first week of May, we ordered the ribs and pork special which came with beans, potato salad and rolls. Wow was it really good! Definitely well worth the money, I think it was like $11.00!! and it was the best meal that we had while in Gatlinburg. The service was excellent, we ordered "to go" and the...

From the hole in the wall in Helen, GA (the BBQ Shack), to Dannys BBQ in Cary, NC., and even Garys BBQ in Salisbury, NC. We know and love good BBQ.
I read the reviews of Hungry Bear and wondered if all of...

Found this place last year when we smelled it from the road. Our English Bulldog pointed his nose skyward, drooled and fell over in the back seat. The food was so good we were inspired to buy our own smoker and when we returned this year with hearty appetites and plenty of questions they were heppy to help us out.
A cute, unpretentious blue house with an aromatic smoker in the front yard easily lures you in. Too bad that wonderful smoky smell can't be bottled! The ribs were fall off the bone tender; the pulled pork sandwich--more chunks than stringy pulled meat--had a good smoked flavor, too. Several side dishes to accompany the meal were listed, but I wasn't...

Phony bologna bbq. They have the smoker smelling the outside like fresh bbq, but when you order its just precooked overcooked, not fresh, slop. Tastes like it came out of a box.
