We discovered this place following Lonely Planet and GeoVoyages recommendations... And were not disappointed at all! Really original (old garage, common shared tables, BBQ style...) + the meat was really good (Angus beef + pork shoulder), not too much cooked like it is often the case in the US. Just one slight deception: we ordered sides, the beans were really... More

NOT WORTH THE ENDLESS WAIT. I had friends here from London, who were dying for some special BBQ. We were in Brooklyn and decided on Fette Sau. Once we arrived, there was a bit of a line, which we quickly learned moved at a snails pace. There was one, that's right, one server cutting up the food, while 5 others... More

Great bbq meat. The wait was quite long to get served, but you could order a drink and join the line, which was good.

We visited in January and the food was great, the burnt beans truly wonderful, the price was really cheap and the beer was lovely. If you want table service and stars visit another place this is simple rough and ready for great food and a different experience. The place was packed on a we'd news day night.

We go take out from here and the quality was excellent. The pulled pork was to die for, the brisket and ribs also great. We might have squeezed onto a table, but probably glad we didn't have to try. The queue was huge, but moved pretty quickly due to effective staff on the counter and a beer from the bar... More

Best BBQ around. Self service and communal seating can be gladly accepted because the BBQ is to die for. No reservations accepted - so best to go off peak hours. Well worth the trip!!!

They have family style seating with long picnic tables. You choose your meats by the pound and everyone shares. Everything was decent I did not like the bacon way too fatty

This popular WB spot is a solid choice if you're in the mood for bbq or want to sample some whisky. Come early, because it gets very crowded very quickly and seating is somewhat limited. We got the brisket, pulled pork, spicy sausage, baked beans and coleslaw - all were good, but only the beans and sausage were exceptional. Hell,... More

This was a great experience. I loved the communal eating feel about the place, It was very laid back and you even find yourself chatting to friendly locals at the table. The meat was amazing, so tender and the side dishes complimented the meats perfectly. Reasonably priced, and good beer too.
