Brilliant Sunday brunch, manhattan skyline, Brooklyn bridge. What else is there to say. Forget your sky scraper your Enjoy a great meal with good ambience and class. Very traditional and eclectic. A little trip in time perhaps. Pricey but something you will never forget .

The people their are very very rude. The food i could have made in my house. They truly over charge you there, its not a great place to go, Please avoid at all costs, this place its a mess.

We really enjoyed our visit to The River Cafe. As we had just gotten engaged that day it was a perfectly romantic setting for a perfect evening. Service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Looking forward to my next visit to New York so I can visit again.

River Cafe is all about the view. The Manhattan skyline from this floating restaurant is truly amazing. The staff have come to think that they are doing you a favor by allowing you to eat there. River Cafe is regrettably closed thanks to the Hurricane Sandy, but they are working hard to re-open. Don't understand these recent reviews - they have been out of business since the end of October 2012. However, check their website - the opening date is now in sight.

The setting is nice and outside is really pretty at night. The food was so so. The service was a bit OTT. It was very expensive. Glad we went but won’t be running back :)
