I had lunch at this Peruvian restaurant last week. They have a lunch special menu that includes about a dozen choices for $8, with a glass of soda included. (The sandwich selections also include fries.) I chose the Arroz Chaufa, a pork fried rice dish that was good and filling. It wouldn’t say it was great, however. The interior is... More

I must say the drinks were my favorite, must try the diablitos !!!! Food was good and so was the atmosphere , some Spanish music and friendly place,to enjoy a drink while listening to music, and of course eating tacos with hot salsa, I also liked the detail of crayons to write on the white table paper , while your... We went here for a belated birthday dinner for my bff's friend. First, I was there a year or so ago and quite enjoyed the food so I guess I'm saying skip the rotisserie and go for the other dishes! Now I love pisco and the drinks you make with pisco. This time I had the 2nd pisco drink on... More

This is my favorite when I am in Brooklyn, and I always take zuppa de camarones, without even consulting the rest of the menu. Perhaps I am not the best judge of the other food offered there, but the zuppa is just as delicious as I had in Huanchaco! Coco Roco is also the only Peruvian restaurant I went to... More

It feels like Coco Roco has been in the Slope forever. Its good old fashioned fun, low-key, well-priced neighborhood food. Nothing fancy but everything full of great flavor and very fresh. Honestly, there aren't many Park Slope restaurants that are just good fun - the food/staff/customers. Come on in! Eat, drink, be merry and forget about increasingly gentrified Park Slope... More

I have had dinner on many occasions at this Peruvian Restaurant. It is a very intimate setting and have attended many going away, birthdays, retirement etc. parties. It's a place where I can take friends and family who are visiting from out of state and know they will enjoy the food, setting, and not break the bank. The last time... More

Friendly family service. Clean comfortable dining area. Bar is small, two stools. But happy hour from 4 to 7. plantains and salsa nice starter. Food was ok. I had beef stir fry which was good, but coco roco fries were soggy. Flan dessert was amazing.
