Fried shrimp was great! Fried green tomatoes were great! Piña colada was great! This restaurant was worth the walk. Servings are plentiful. Good service. Friendly staff. Would go there again.

I love the cool vibe of this former speak easy. History is displayed on the walls, the staff is friendly, and the best part: they have great food! Their burgers are not to be missed and I am always torn between their great hand cut fries and their delicious onion rings; they are hard to beat. My son loved his...

Monday night trivia was a blast! Fabulous staff, great casual experience and hanging with the locals definitely the way to go.
Our group would go back just for the onion rings. They were light and crispy. Not heavily coated like most places. The rest of the food was enjoyable as well. Some in our group had issues with the fries. Appeared to have been reheated. Recommend it, but get a different side than fried. I recommend the onion rings.
Crystal Beer Parlor has quite a following. It is often packed and they don't take reservations so its come as you please. This leads to the bar seating as a great option if there is two of you. I have gone with friends and taken people here for business. My business clients thought it was a blast.

I love this place. Great food quick service and fair prices. I have eaten here at least 4 times now and look forward to my next visit. It's a good choice for a light meal on vacation
Wanted a place to experience local cuisine and were directed to this Bar that also served food. Could have gone to any local place back home in NJ and experienced the same thing. If you are looking to get local flavor re: food and atmosphere, this is not the place.
We ARE a local joint - lots of locals patronize our place. The fact that we don't offer strictly local cuisine is absolutely no reason for a "TERRIBLE" review. I do, however take comfort in the fact that folks from New Jersey can visit with us and feel at home. Have a safe trip back to Jersey.

My wife and I went to this restaurant during a recent trip, based on recommendations.
The menu was just how I like... Creative enough to try something different, without being pretentious or absurd. There's enough variety too, it'd be hard NOT to find something for you. The beer selection was pretty good too.
Price is reasonable, staff was helpful and...

Savannah's second oldest restaurant, opened 1933. Interesting place, lots of history. Clean, not fancy, old menu's decorate the walls. Not touristy, lots of locals eat here, very busy. Recommended by hotel concierge, local tour guide and several locals, who were sitting in the Squares. Sure glad we took there advice, had a small bowl of Crystal Crab Stew, YUM YUM!...

We came across the Crystal Beer Parlor on a fluke. We had our young child with us but they informed us that wasn't a problem. The food was great and they had the best ginger beer I have ever had. Great atmosphere and great staff.
