You would think that if you visit Savannah, Ga., you think seafood. We recommend this Mexican restaurant located a couple of blocks west of the Sheraton Hotel highly. We were pleasantly surprised. They have an excellent menu and service was great.

We ate here while visiting for the weekend. It's just a short walk from Ellis Square, where we were staying. The margaritas are cheap and strong! They have 3 sizes, and the largest is only $12. And it's HUGE! The food is your average Mexican fare. Nothing really special. The queso was quite tasty though. It's worth the walk.
A nice atmosphere. The food was very good and what you would expect of most Americanized Mexican Food. Great Guac and Margs. Chicken Nachos Supreme is loaded with goodies
My husband & I bought a Groupon for Carlito's Mexican Restaurant in preparation for our weekend get-away. We checked TripAdvisor before purchasing because we weren't familiar with the restaurant. It received decent reviews, so we went ahead with the purchase. We were not disappointed! Our meal was delicious. The chips & salsa we snacked on before our dinner was served...

I've been going there for years, but enough is enough. The food has been gradually declining over the years while the prices go up. On my last visit there the service was bad. Two of the dishes brought to our table were completely wrong. It also took 45 minutes to get our food and when it did come it was cold!
Liked the atmosphere but don't go if you don;t want to be around many college kids. The food was okay. I ordered Steak Colorado: it was somewhat bland. This is a good place to go to if you cannot find anything better.
Unfortunately my recent experience here will be my last. Rather than stick with a combo meal we decided to try some specials. I had a sampler with a taco, burrito, chile relleno, an enchilada, tamale and rice and beans. My daughter had the sea food fajita. First we were presented with a basket of tortilla chips which were a funny...

This was a choice close to the hotel and we were very pleased we decided to eat here. We arrived quite late after a walking ghost tour and were served promptly. This appears to be a family run place and everyone who served us was friendly. The complementary corn chips were replinished and our meals arrived quickly. The food was...

You are probably not thinking Mexican when visiting Savannah but you have to try this place. The prices are in line, the chips and salsa are to die for, and the places is cool to boot. A do not miss.
The title pretty much sums it up.. good Mexican food and affordable prices compared to most of the other restaurants in the Historic District. The portions are very big, bigger than expected and almost impossible to finish. The service was great. We didn't have to wait for a table and were promptly seated. The waiter was very nice. The chips...
