Love, love this place..! Quiet, a lot of food, good price and awesome taste! You will totally enjoy your meal...I've been many times and have never had a bad meal..!
My wife and I ate here based on the Trip Advisor review. We had just flown in to Jax airport after spending a week in New England. The best meal of the week by far was at the Green Papaya. Don't let the mall location fool you. The ambiance is unique with a wide open large space and tables and... More
We landed at Jacksonville airport after a long day of flight delays. We were tired and starving but did not want airport food. Green Papaya is just a short drive from the airport, and it's going to be our regular stop in Jacksonville. Just walking into the place makes you feel calmer. The decor is simple and modern, there's a... More
I live at the beach in Jacksonville, constituting a 30 minute drive to Green Papaya. It's not the place I would visit on a regular day. That being said, I had a friend flying into town who wanted to find lunch shortly after she arrived. I had heard about Green Papaya and was impressed with the reviews I had read.... More
Wonderful food . Perfect service. Would go back .. Hands down great and cute too . We were traveling from Florida to Maryland it's near a lot of stores but easy in and out
My husband and I ate here on a Thursday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything was good. The restaurant is clean, with a nice ambiance. Our young server was willing to please, without being chatty/ friendly. we started with 2 lamb chops, perfectly done served with a small mesclun salad, for only $9. We shared two entrees, both delicious. Our... More
The food was good; the soup excellent; my wife is very allergic to MSG so they made her something without that ingredient. They were so nice about it. If you like spicy food, this is the place for you. Recommend you get it medium hot if you are not sure. Appetizers were also great.
If you are looking for Asian food in the North end, take the trip to the River City Marketplace for the Green Papaya. The menu highlights Thai but they have various popular Chinese dishes and a Singaporean dish we treasure: the Mango Chicken. We usually start with the Crab Rangoon which in contrast to most places, actually has crab you... More
Stopped in on a late Friday for a meal after my girlfriend's flight got in.. saw all of these reviews and was really excited to check this place out.. Surprisingly the restaurant was pretty dead, just two tables besides ours.. I was a little nervous because the restaurant smelled like crab when we sat down(not appetizing crab).. but soon after... Had the wonton soup which was very tasty. Then the "amazing curry" with shrimp and scallops. It was delicious. The curry was a very heavy thick peanut based just how I like it. Broccoli was cooked nicely and not overdone like some places. Big portions. I will return. Prices very reasonable, too.
