The people were nice. I cream has a great creamy texture. Creative flavors. It's ice cream how can you go wrong.
After reading all the reviews on Tripadvisor, I knew that I had to stop here when in Gettysburg. I decided to stop by Mr. G's on my way out of town. Mr. G's was an excellent end to my Gettysburg vacation; I just wish that I had come here earlier! When I walked in, the staff was MAKING waffle cones... More
Mr. G's varies his flavors. He also has some different flavors that you can't get at any other Ice Cream places in Gettysburg. Peppermint Patty is my all time favorite. All of his ice cream is homemade. The prices are very reasonable. Much cheaper than any of the other ice cream places nearby. The staff is very friendly and quick... More
We stopped at Mr G's Ice Cream and got a banana split (the large one) Could not believe the price was not more for the size of the banana split (very reasonable) We will be going back. Kathy Young Hummels Wharf, PA
Plenty if parking at the middle school, interesting history of the building on the walls, "Living Witness" sycamore out front, salty caramel cone yummy. Wish it were open later on Friday--especially College Family Weekend.
The only ice cream parlor in Gettysburg that say's "GETTYSBURG!" It's located in an authentic Civil War house that's indeed haunted, and run by very kind, friendly and customer-oriented folks. They actually had PUMPKIN ice cream, and it was delicious!! We ate at one of the "Witness Tree" tables that had been made from one of the twin sycamores that... More
This is some of the best ice cream ever. THe staff offered tastes and combinations. Very pleased with the prices, THe decor was nice to sit and enjoy the treat Walked out of one of the competitiors due to the high prices.
Our family of four visited Mr G's while on our vacation to Gettysburg and loved it. The ice cream (we had the chocolate chip cookie dough and Salted Caramel) was incredible and some of the best we've ever eaten while at an affordable price. The history of the house was intriguing and the staff was cordial and friendly. The gift... More
The ice cream and shakes were great. The history of this building is very cool. This building is also known to have spirits around. Take lots of pictures. I would be suprised if you don't get some Orbs. Try to avoid it right when school lets out. The school is behind the building and kids love ice cream! :)
