Enjoyed lunch on the outside deck. There is also a lovely inside dining room with great views. The chili was excellent. The cornbread is probably the best I've ever had. The cornbread is so moist. It's made in house.

Last year, my guy friend and I were walking down the quaint main street in Coupeville and smelled the aroma of baking bread that turned out to be the most wonderful cinnamon rolls. We bought many to bring home and freeze so we could have a "little" taste throughout the next few weeks. I also had an amazing chili while...

We ate lunch here based on past reviews not knowing that the ownership had changed. The food was average but the service and the atmosphere was poor. The waitstaff did not seem to understand English very well. The place had tons of flies and felt like a dive bar.
This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. On 3/23/13, I was there with my mom who highly recommended the place based on eating there years ago, as well as my aunt and cousin from out of town. My mom ordered the tomato bisque and grilled cheese sandwich. The tomato bisque was cold. My aunt ordered the salmon quiche which was...

We were at the Musselfest last weekend and even saved room for our favorite little cafe in Coupeville, Mosquito Fleet. My son even asked the week before if we would eat there. The ownership has changed and you notice it right when you walk in the door. The place just feels different. Last time we were in the place was...

Who in their right mind would ever consider combining 'Thai' food with a traditional American chili joint?? That is just as bizarre as mixing Italian food with Mexican, or Japanese with Cajun! We should have checked the recent reviews before going here for lunch today. Had no idea the ownership had changed. I am sure the new owners are trying,...

Chris and Rita have definitely left the building. The new owner has apparently bought their recipes, but can't buy the necessary skill. The food was an atrocious mockery of the delicious works of culinary art that Chris used to produce with pride. As an earlier reviewer noted, we didn't finish our food, and the owner didn't express even a hint...

This is my 2nd review for this small cafe in Coupeville. I've been here several times & loved it -- it was a favorite. Sadly, I went this week & it has definitely gone downhill. I was told the cafe was sold 2 months ago & under new ownership/management. Although the menu is unchanged, the soup most definitely has. I...

Dear Friend,
This is Rita. As PREVIOUS owner of Mosquito Fleet Chili, I want to thank you for your kind words about my shop and I want to say I'm sorry your last experience was lacking. My husband and I still care. The new owners are friends and make terrific Thai food. We all worked together for weeks to be...

I had clam chowder and a turkey sandwich for a quick lunch and it was good.
Did not have time for the Asian/Thai restaurant upstairs but would know it is good as it is operated by the same proprietor whom are thai and very friendly folks whom would be happy to offer recommendation
Operated by a Thai couple (from Krabi)...

What a GREAT way to end an otherwise dismal island-food weekend. I had the salmon asparagus quiche and my husband had the chowder. I'm not a seafood lover, but craved the quiche. After explaining to the owner (she took my order) what type of fish I DO eat, she described how they made it (homemade crust too) and assured me...
