There is NOTHING to DISlike about this place! The wait staff is attentive and interactive, the food is HOT (almost too hot for those of us used to "normal" service). My personal favorite is the WarWonton soup (altho I don't like wontons!). The avocado rolls are the BEST! Jenny has a wonderful "special" menu. The music (Asian) and tv's (mostly... More

My family and I always order from Red Lantern. The owner even put together a special Chinese New Year menu for us. Food is very good, authentic and fresh.

Was there with my family and we ordered the special. Two dishes for 13,99. The food was really fresh and hot. Whe had the sesam chicken , orange chicken and sweet sour chicken. All three were huge and excellent . The fried rice wich we got was very good and also much.

I went to this restaurant this evening with my sister and the food was beyond acceptable. The dishes were filthy and we had to ask 4 TIMES for new clean ones!! Our servers(there were 3 different people helping us in the beginning) did not check back on us to see if we needed anything and we were parched by the... More

Honestly, after reading the reviews from previous customers, My family and I were pretty excited about going here. What a waste of time and money. Their food was horrible, and the service was even worse. Only after we finished our meals did our server refill our drinks, needless to say it was not deserving of a tip. Would not recommend... More

We are Asian and we are very particular with our chinese food. Coming from Dallas, we couldn't find any good ones in el paso until we found RedLantern! We went every week for the two months we were there. Try the crispy pan fried noodles and the ginger fish filet. If you're looking for Japanese, sushi, you MUST try Makoto... More

We eat at a lot of restaurants, including numerous Asian restaurants, but this one is a stand out. The food is just absolutely delicious. We have already gone back numerous times and tried numerous dishes. We have never left disappointed. The staff is courteous and responsive. There are times in which every table has been taken and there is a... More

It is hard to define what is best Chinese Food as China has so many types of cuisine. The few related Chinese restaurants in El Paso (Sam's, Moon Star, Red Lantern) are operated by bosses from Canton (Guandong), so the dishes are more Cantonese than the usual American Chinese food. I visited Red Lantern for the 1st time today -... More

My wife & I treated ourselves to a wonderful evening meal, but our first choice was closed. Safely walking across busy Zaragoza Avenue, we entered the well-populated Red Lantern Restaurant. We found one of the few vacant tables and got comfortable, as server Diana quickly brought us hard-cover menus, which were a real delight to order from: we can order... More
