I liked the six different sauces at the table. The pork was great! Good flavor! Potato salad was very good also!
This is Memphis barbecue, and now that at least a couple of the branches are open on Sunday, it's the best in Little Rock. Pulled pork is the best, and sausage is HIGH in sodium, but who comes to a BBQ place for health food? Prices are modest. Highly recommended,
A great spot for lunch for a traveller: easy to find, tasty and fast service. We both had a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw; a generous heaping helping of super-tender pulled pork and crunchy coleslaw without too much mayo. Clean facility, tons of trophies from BBQ cookoff's, clean restrooms, friendly staff. And the location was great for us, as we... More
We live locally & this is our BBQ favorite. All their meats are flavorful by themselves or with one of their 5 different sauces. Their potato salad is the best ever, not the usual container type....beans are tasty too. Delicious!
I really enjoy BBQ. We went to Texas for vacation and I failed to get any BBQ down there so on the way home we decide to eat at some BBQ joint in Little Rock. We find Whole Hog ranked high on TripAdvisor so we decided to give it a try. We was stunned at how good this place was.... More
We were hosted at the Remington Shooting Club near Lonoke, AR. The outdoor dinner featured a whole roasted pig, with hand pulled pork (they wore gloves) by the serving staff. Chicken was available for anyone who did not like pork. Cold-Slaw, potato salad, ranch beans, rolls for sandwiches, and three (3) GRADES OF "HOT" Bar-B-Q sauce, peach, cherry and apple... More
I'm a local and take visitors here for an authentic Arkansas barbecue experience. If you're looking for something with the local taste, find a Whole Hog. Note that there are several in the area.
After reading all the reviews about this place we decided to checked it out. Went in and like most bbq joints ordered at the front counter, got 2 sliced brisket sandwiches. Then tried to find a side, this is the only negative I encounter they didn't offer much, cole slaw, beans, potato salad and chips. Were in the south, where... More
Based on reviews I thought this stuff was going to be off the chain but I couldn't even eat through half of my plate. I ordered the "specialty" nachos with chicken for $7.49 - what I got was those hard corn carnival chips - not heated - with canned cheese sauce, I pile of sour cream & pulled chicken over... More
