We are regulars at the CHBG, having lunch there (almost) every Suday and dinner a few times per month. The jazz is incredible and the ambiance is that of southern sophistication. The food is always good and well portioned. The bartenders there also do an excellent job. Try to stump them with a new drink, I dare you! I'd highly... More

Stopped in for a late lunch. We were seated promptly and waited on. I had the 1/2 Cuban sandwich and zucchini soup. The sandwich was very tasty. The soup was also good and unique. They have a lunch special every day which sounds pretty good.

Stopped in to listen to some live music and have a snack on a Saturday night and were thrilled at the quality of their jazz group "The Ted Ludwig Trio". Ted is exceptional...with Joe Vick on bass and Brian Brown on drums. If you like jazz and appreciate live music, you will NOT be disappointed!

Capitol Bar & Grill is a perfect spot for lunch. The grilled pimento cheese is wonderful. Go there for drinks before a fun event..great cocktails and fun atmosphere!

I was in town for business, staying across the street and had heard great things about the bar the Capital Hotel - they weren't kidding! The bar was packed but a table happened to open up just as we were walking in so we were seated promptly. The cocktails were amazing and my colleague was happy with her beer. We... More

We did not want a fancy restaurant and found this place to be perfect. They do not take reservations but we were able to get a table only waiting a little bit. The wait staff were over the top friendly and proud of their menu selections. The food was delicious with a nice variety of menu choices.

The bar was very busy but the staff stayed on top of it. We didn't try any food but what we saw on others tables looked good. We enjoyed the atmosphere and watching the bartenders make drinks by muddling fresh herbs. The specialty drinks were a little pricey but I think worth it for the fresh ingredients. As Per my... More

What a lovely bar/grill. We only had drinks and a cheese plate but enjoyed it all immensely. Lovely quiet atmosphere, dark wood, comfortable chairs. Thoroughly relaxing for an after work drink and snack. Beautiful Ladies room, too ... Always counts for a lot with me. Drop in and order your favorite cocktail!

We pulled up to the valet and I asked him jeans were ok....He said "This is Arkansas" and smiled. Live jazz was playing and the bar was busy. Great drinks before dinner. It's casual and very good. We tried the pimento cheese on the waiters suggestion. My wife had never tried it and was suspicious, but quickly changed her mind.... More

Oh My! The Capital Hotel's restaurants were always decent, but boring. Now they actually have a real chef who enjoys some kick, and the food at the Capital Grill where I went recently is just excellent. At lunch recently at the Grill, I chose the catfish sandwich thinking that I would just simply be paying homage to catfish in Arkansas.... More
