We sat at the first table at the restaurant and from our seats we could see the chefs making the food. Everything is freshly made and it taste delicious. It is the best sushi and most fresh sushi that we have tasted.

This is our neighborhood goto! We love the freshness and quiet neighborly-ness. Reasonably priced, quick and friendly!

We only had lunch there twice. The food was very good. Service was fast and waiters were kind and cheerful. Clean place as well. Totally recommend it.

We visited Umi Sushi in July 2012. We had an order of various pieces of nigiri sushi, maki roll sushi and the best, sashimi. Before that we had a miso soup. The restaurant is owned by Chinese people, but stil has the same taste as Japan. The prices are very good for the location (Midtown East).

Finished with the spider web (soft shell crab roll), very tasty and done differently than the usual sushi places (topped with spicy tuna)....
