The salads are pretty spectacular as well. In short, the whole menu is delicious, but I am addicted to the lamb boureki. Friendly management, good service, small and cozy on one of the prettiest corners in the Village. This is definitely a neighborhood place that tourists would do well to visit.

This was the 4th time my wife and I have dined here during a semi-annual visit to nyc, and I am amazed at the consistently excellent dining experience the proprietors provide for their customers. Food is the best Greek fare I can find (I eat a lot of Greek food), service was unusually caring, helpful, and upbeat. The restaurant creates... More

This was a great place to stumble across whilst we were in need of a rest. The service was marvellous, the food was just perfect and wish I could have eaten everything off the menu. Very friendly staff made this place a delight to visit and have a break from the outside world. Would highly recommend.

I recently visited some friends in NYC. One has a severe gluten allergy. This restaurant was able to accommodate her needs without a problem. The food was really good with a clean, simple, intimate atmosphere. The owner was at the restaurant and chatted with us for a moment after our meal. I would go back!

Went here with some friends and family and had a nice late night supper. I very much enjoyed the cod and how it was prepared and spiced...and of course, Panko-ed. It is very common to experience noisy restaurants and this was no exception. I found conversation to be nearly impossible. Although the food was good, they never got around to... More

When I ate here about 10PM on June 15 2012 I was served oven-baked lamb that was rancid. It smelled and tasted rotten and of course was inedible. There is no excuse for this. I know of a man who died from unsanitary practice in a restaurant. I have reported this place to the relevant Government agency (311). Stay away.

This was my first greek restaurant when abroad ever! I was delighted: traditional greek tastes, but with a twist! Easy-going stuff, beautiful atmosphere, perfect for a couple's night out! A special mention of the wine list: don't miss the opportunity to taste some really memorable greek wines!

A cute and inexpensive, Greek restaurant that you pretty much have to know about , the best kind. Two blocks from the main Greenwich Village drag, which means you don't get the tourists, to the extent tourists still bother with Greenwich Village. Mostly neighborhood folks. The food is excellent and fresh. my only complaint is it can get noisy, and it'sa... More
