I'm not certain about this, but I thought i detected a change in demeanor when it became clear we had "been around the block" before. I never think in those terms, but I couldn't help thinking it this time. The experienced waitress was totally professional and inquired of the kitchen regarding our requests and questions ,without fail. The signature chowder... More

I visit a lot of restaurants all of the world, so I would say that I am reasonably experienced with different cuisines, whether they be low budget or pricey meals. I visited new York on valentines day with my boyfriend. His treat for my 21st birthday. The whole trip was incredible, from the hotel to the trips that we did.... More

I can see why people would call it a tourist trap if you eat there when the tree is lit or ice skating is in season, but we went for the food. It wasn't crowded due to the early time. Food was delicious, service attentive and plenty of time to get to our show. Overpriced? This is NY, these are... More

Ate lunch - a busy restaurant in the Rockefeller building complex. Very nice menu - I had a Tuna Tartar and as a main I enjoyed nice piece of Cod fish. Excellent food. With the main I also tried the portobello fries - mushroom sliced in the form of french fries and cooked like tempura - simply excellent.

The menu is extremely overpriced for what it is. The waitresses are pushy and arrogant. The starred chef has apparently no tongue and cannot taste what he cooks. Never come back.

I loved the decor and service. Beautiful place, generous drinks. The ahi tuna was wonderful!! I got the sea food chowder and it was good - not great. We had a great table by the ice skating rink -- which I think is what draws tourists here. My scallops were served stew style (which was not clear to me from... More

Entertaining place to have dinner if you can get a seat by the windows where people are skating. Awesome good and great service.

Unfirtunelly I choose Sea room for Christmas eve. The Menu it's just more of the same. Besides the enviroment and the iceskating view , it's really an average meal , OVERPRICED . Don't waste your time and money.

Dinner was amazing, we were seated infront of the ice skating rink. The server "forgot his name" but we were talking about Japan etc. By far the best server in NYC. The food was amazing. Worth every dollar!!!! My wife was happy!!

We dined at The Sea Grill on February 16th in celebration of our daughter's birthday. Everyone we encountered made sure that our experience was a great one. The host sat us at an excellent table next to the window, which provided a great view of the skaters at Rock Center. Our waitress was very attentive and offered great suggestions throughout... More
