Description: "One bite is enough to make you moan" - The New York Times Beloved by locals and a must-see destination for anyone who enjoys celebrity sightings, the Four Seasons is the restaurant New York Magazine named the "city's greatest dining room." Whether you're lunching poolside and enjoying the restaurant's deal-of-the-decade $59 prix fixe or looking for a delicious dinner destination that the New York Times raved "virtually defines American cooking," the Four Seasons offers something for every wallet. An only-in-Manhattan icon that Zagat 2013 called "a calm oasis in throbbing Manhattan," the Four Seasons serves New American dishes, inspired by local fishermen and farmers.

It has been awhile since our last visit to this NYC legend. It is still a wonderful restaurant in the heart of New York. The dining room is beautiful and conjures up what it must have been like when they celebrated JFK's 45th birthday there. The food was excellent and prepared to order. The only flaw was the spotty at... More

This is a New York institution. The food is rock solid as is the service and attention to detail. You are in a place of power players and need to dress and act appropriately as this is a NYC business spot to see and be seen. Well worth it too! Ask for a room on the balcony or near the... More

A couple of friends invite me to this restaurant. The service is top notch. Champagne to start with and some good bites. She called the duck they are known for it. Table side service. We eat too much. It was very good and traditional. Nothing creative but every detail was well done. I loved the pickled garlic with the olives...... More

The Mies/Philip Johnson interior of this exquisite restaurant propels the fortunate diner into instant Zen-mode. As a native New Yorker, I'm hard pressed to think of another venue that better shows off New York at its best and most sophisticated. If you're visiting the Big Apple from another continent and haven't yet been to the Four Seasons, GO!

I have been going to the Four Seasons for 20 years now. WE ahve our favorite foods and waiter and nothing has changed. If it is a special occasion you will always receive the cotton candy with an unexpected surprise underneath. The crispy duck is sensational and is a must to try. Order a souffle no matter waht flavor they... More

Had dinner with my wife and friends. Service was extremely rude and the food was good but not anything special. If I was just with my wife I would have got up and left due to the rude wait staff.

This gem is well worth all the hype over decades...consider it perhaps a museum for culinary excellence where your palate will be educated and stimulated. Decor is premiere classic 60's, jaw-dropping, and the floral displays rotating with the seasons are inspired. You can't go wrong with a single choice here, the only problem is difficulty getting in without advance reservations... More

I have dined at The Four Seasons many times but not for three years. I was disappointed last week. Most of the diners were wearing sport shirts with no ties; a no-no in years past. The usual crowd of regular diners seemed to be replaced with tourists celebrating birthdays, The waiters were indifferent and the details were ignored, eg, wines... More

We have dined a number of times at this restaurant and were concerned that it did not seem as busy as our last visit. However our fears were soon put to rest by the food and the service we experienced. Yes it is expensive but with a wine list as long as "War and Peace" from inexpensive to "Wow" and... More

We have eaten here many times for special events. We went in mid march 2013 there were 7 of us the bill came to over $1,000 which included one inexpensive bottle of wine and only 4 deserts. I don't mind the price you expect it to be expensive, however the service was awful, and the food medicore at best. The... More
