We ate at the Soho location and the Columbus Hotel location. Enjoyed both meals and the Columbus location also had a wonderful cocktail bar for pre-dinner drinks (in fact if you're in the area it would be a nice place for a drink regardless). Lots of yummy cocktails to choose from. The sushi and sashimi were of good standard and... More

A friend recommended this place. Amazing sushi, and great sake out of wooden boxes. Love the oyster roll and the scallop sashimi.

This is the best sushi outside of Japan. The salmon sashimi melts in your mouth. The service was excellent and the beer list included an IPA, which is not traditional but much appreciated by someone who needs more hops than offered by Asian brews. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very nice place to eat an excellent sashimi in the Village. They do not accept reservations,, you should go, give your name and wait there. Staff very professional, they served us for free a glass of white wine while we were waiting. Japanise chefs , we had dinner at the bar, it's amusing to watch them prepare food, and they... More

We arrived early 7pm and were able to get a table no problem. Menu has a very nice selection and while not cheap, what you would expect to pay for quality sushi in NYC. The place has no sign outside but the street number is marked so it is not that hard to find.

I have tried the sashimi, not that high quality. Quality is very average. The cooked food are doing really good. I have beef tongue and ramen . It is delicious and finely made.

Deserves its great reputation. Fantastic fresh sushi and surprisingly friendly service for what is clearly a cool, sought after place in trendy SoHo. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a late lunch here on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The place is not so easy to find but don't give up if you don't find it at first, it is definitely worth the search. The four of us had set sushi menus; very well prepared, good ginger, delicious fish that melts in your mouth. Thick slices of fish,... More

Old standard. Decor not the draw. Quality fresh sushi and sake. Simple menu enhances the fresh food and ingredients.

After reading amazing reviews we looked it up. As other reviews says, it is hard to find. No sign, and it is downstairs. But it is in 119 Sullivan Street. A bit disappointed by the very simple interior. And here simple also means a bit cheap. The menu is amazing. Huge selection signals quality. And it is. Pricey sushis but... More
