A great place to get hammered on Aquavit while you have a great meal. Its Scandinavian / french food goes fabulously well with the drinks.

Quite authentic Swedish delicacies in the most elegant restaurant in one of the most elegant streets in NYC. The success of this restaurant over 15 years since my first visit is surely due to the consistency of the food and the service as well as the elegant ambiance. Prices justify visits on special occasions.

The service was impeccable. The food was creative, cutting-edge, divine. The presentation was thoughtful. The pace was perfect. It was an expensive meal, and it should have been... it was worth every penny.
