Description: If there are any two young people who have had the experience it takes to open their own restaurant, these two are it - - and their coming together reads like a story. Franco Lazzari and Stefano Terzi originally met each in the early 90’s while working in New York. At ViceVersa, Franco and Stefano, unveiled their vision for a contemporary Italian restaurant, combining the traditions of their own cultural background with the youth and energy of their years, and the sophistication and experience of their time in major New York City restaurants.

Went as part of a group of 6. Great food. Great service. Fair prices. Everyone in the group thought the restaurant was excellent. The appetizers, main courses, and desserts were spot on. They were kind enough to give us one additional dessert on the house. Perfect location - just out of the theater district so that its not crazy. Plenty... More

Had a dinner party for a group of 14, and got a private room, not far from the main dining area, but enough distance to have space and a relatively quiet dinner. Great service, and timing of service. We shared appetizers, and there was enough for all to share. Nice details (hazelnuts in honey, crispy seasoned bread warmed with cheese... More

Loved this nice upscale reasonably priced neighborhood gathering spot. From the top notch service, delicious food and cosmopolitan atmosphere everything came together for a fun evening. Friends dropping in and out for drinks or joining the meal, or coming in for desert. The owner was delightful and friendly and very attentive to all of his guests. The chef partner joined... More

Perfect spot anytime. Great service, delicious food, nice ambiance. Was looking for a place for dinner prior to a show at the Gershwin Theatre and this place was perfect. Very congenial and attentive service. This place pleased my 13 year old son, my 80 year old mother and happily, us 50 something year olds. Would definitley visit again on another... More

We met our cousins for dinner at this restaurant two weeks ago. It is their favorite place in the city, and they wanted to share it with us. We are so thankful that they shared, as it was a wonderful experience, both for the food, drinks, atmosphere and finally getting together after a long hiatus. We all enjoyed our meals... More

This is literally one of our favorite restaurants in NYC; we eat here as much as every other week, certainly once a month. A gorgeous setting, simple and stylish and beautifully lit. A great staff, warm and friendly without being silly or obtrusive. And the food! Modern updated Northern Italian, with fresh ingredients and handsome preparations. Everything is terrific, especially... More

Located in the Theatre District, this is the kind of high-quality mid-sized restaurant New York is famous for. My sweetheart and I met friends for dinner here and three if us liked our choices; the fourth thought his salmon was nothing special. We had considerable trouble conversing due to the noise level which prevented us from enjoying the evening as... More

My family had dinner here before catching a Broadway show. The restaurant was attractive and peaceful for the Theatre district. The tables were not too close together so it was easy to carry on a conversation. The service was attentive but not obtrusive. My daughters ordered the pumpkin ravioli and raved about it. My husband had a pasta dish with... More

We made New Year Eve's reservation at Vice Versa. They had a fixed 3 course meal. A decent selection of entrees, however nothing amazing. We were a group of 4 and tried different entrees, and not one of the entrees was above average. There service was excellent. Their wait staff is very attentive.
