I had the most perfect dinner at Fishtag. This is my go-to place while in New York and I am always guaranteed a delightful dining experience. Their cocktails are novel concoctions that pack a punch of flavour. My favourites are the Pepino Que Pica with cucumber infused vodka and jalapeno, mint and lemon and the Smokey D – sort of... More

We ate there for restaurant week. Had a 4 course meal: smoked salmon, bulgur salad, sea bass on a bed of broccoli rabe, and baklava. My friend had the short ribs (not on the restaurant week menu). The courses were generous and the food was wonderful. There was a choice of smoked salmons, the bulgur salad was full of almonds,... More

We went during restaurant week and the quality and quantity of the dishes was excellent! And you must have one of their terrific drinks- I had the Smokey D- a smoked margarita!- and reason enough to return! All the food was inventive, tasty and the presentation was elegant! Go and enjoy! More

We have been to its space in previous incarnations. We like Onera very much and were disappointed when it closed. The restaurant is an odd space with no windows, but Fish Tag has improved its use of the space in such a way that it feels less claustrophobic. The food was excellent! Very creative Greek cuisine, delicious and light and... More

We had a very interesting supper at this charming, unusual neighborhood bistro. Its strength is its small plates and cheeses - wonderful spot for a light supper, nice ambiance, friendly services, good bar and wines. Very unusual selections. More

I ate at Fish Tag in early August on a Tuesday evening during a business trip. I had found it online as it was close to my hotel and the reviews on Yelp were mostly positive. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, from the maitre'd who greeted me, the waiter who explained the menu and the runners to brought... More
