Always Dimple and delicious. The option for two fishes is great. Two amazing things on your plate. Love the live music too. Service is spot on.
The idea of serving half-helpings of two different fish dishes is ... inspired. You have to give Le Pescadeux high marks for this innovation even before you taste the food! Happily, the high marks are still in order after you've sampled the cuisine, but that isn't the main purpose of my review. I want to congratulate the owner on providing... More
Le Pescadeux is a charming restaurant in the heart of Soho. We chanced upon it during an afternoon stroll and made a booking later that evening. In terms of food it was the best decision we made during our trip to NYC. Immediately upon our arrival the Canadian owner greeted us warmly as did other members of his staff. The... More
From the moment we stepped into this restaurant till we left a few hours later we had a wonderful experience. Service was attentive and really honest and friendly. Nothing wrong with the service-minded New Yorkers, but sometimes you feel they're just fiendly to get a bigger tip, if you see what I mean. Not so here. Funny and smiling, yet... More
We stumbled upon this restaurant in a quiet section of Soho. We seated at a table that faced outside and was perfect for us. My husband loved the two fish entree he ordred and I have hangar steak which I had not liked in the past and found it deliciously prepared at this restaurant. The owner was delightful to interact... We met friends here for dinner Sunday night. A lovely Sancerre complimented: bouillabaisse-several lobster claws in evidence and saffron-scented tomato-based delicious broth, cod and snapper, whole dorado with delicious green sauce, Brussels sprout side dish and remember the sugar pie for dessert. Lovely Village atmosphere.
The atmosphere was great for a romantic dinner for two with a quiet table in a corner. The food was delicious and the service was first class.
We had a very nice brunch there this past Sunday. Food was very good. I had the french toast, a little different than usual but good. Husband had steak and eggs. We used a restaurant.com certificate with no problem. Our waiter was very pleasant.
Enjoyed a fabulous Sunday brunch at Le Pescadeux. Beautiful spring sunshine, lovely venue and great food, we can recommend the poached eggs and smoked trout. The whole experience was topped off by the jazz trio with vocalist Yvonne Simone. Yvonne is a great singer who has a very warm personality.
On Saturday, after we had been working all day, three women and I (from all corners of the country) were walking on Thompson Street and looked into the window of Le Pescadeux and decided that it was worth a shot. When we walked in, Chuck Perlmutter greeted us like we were the most important foursome he'd ever had walk in... More
