Description: The newest restaurant from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, Maialino is a neighborhood Roman trattoria overlooking Gramercy Park. Lovingly designed by the Rockwell Group, Maialino is located on the first floor of the Gramercy Park Hotel and captures the warmth and comfort of a traditional Roman trattoria, re-imagined for its contemporary setting.
Serving authentic Roman cuisine from Executive Chef Nick Anderer, Maialino is open throughout the day, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests are greeted in a front bar area that serves as a local coffee bar in the morning and later transforms into a lively wine bar serving small plates. In the center of the restaurant are salumi, cheese and dessert stations, where guests are tempted by some of the food that awaits them. Beyond, the trattoria features warm, saturated colors, wood planked floors, wainscoting, and windows overlooking the Park.
