The view of the sunset is super! Couldn't have wanted a better sunset! Saw seals frolicking in the water, enjoyed a great drink at the bar and then the food--- some of the best we have ever had!

The views are some of the best in La Jolla and worth the price of admission. Also, George's soup consistently remains an A+ dish and is worth getting.
The happy hour menu has some great deals and is the better way to go. However, on the dinner menu it says there is a $15 per person food purchase requirement to...

We eat here on every trip down to San Diego. We had the Mahi Special it was awesome. You look out to La Jolla cove. While eating you can watvh the seals, swimmers and kajackers.
We had lunch here during restaurant week on January 17, 2013. Our server was Megan who was excellent (as are all the people at this very well run establishment). We had a margarita then went right to a Cuban sandwich for Rhonda and the Clam Spaghetti for me (in the shells). Both dishes were excellent as usual. Per Megan’s suggestion...

Excellent food, nice staff, wonderful view. Staff even pulled out blankets for customers when the evening cooled down.
Love George's. The location is right on the ocean, the food is delicious, and the service is always outstanding.
Started with George's famous soup. This is a must have. For the main tried the flank steak with bleu cheese. Absolutely delicious. Finished with the creme brûlée. What a treat!
Go early to both stroll along the cove and get e...

Fabulous view high above the ocean in La Jolla. Fish tacos are a must try . Unusual presentations and superb service is why o love eating here. Could not think of anything I did not like.

It can feel a bit overcrowded, and don't be in a hurry or you'll be disappointed. The Grilled Loch Duart Salmon was worth the wait, as was the view.
We had reservations but still had a 1/2 hour wait. The staff was friendly and courteous but the food was not as upscale as some of the competitors in the area. While we had dinner there I think it was more of a lunch place.
I had made a reservation 2 weeks prior to arriving. The female and male at the reservation desk seemed to act like they were doing us a favor upon arrival, they were having their own conversation and didn't even want to make eye contact with us. Thankfully our server was down to earth and on the ball. George's soup was...
