Amazing service, food, and atmosphere!! The steak sandwich and fish tacos are to die for! Save room for the chocolate tart and key lime pie!

We were in San Diego for three days and visited this spot three times: once for dinner, the next day for lunch and a little later for delicious cookie. So many great menu options!! It was difficult to decide. Each item we ordered had its own flavor with the fresh ingredients standing on their own.

In town for a little R&R from the chaos and smog of Los Angeles, my husband and I received a recommendation from the valet staff at our hotel for lunch at Zanzibar Cafe. This chic little place has a friendly staff, and a cafe and bakery that will make you want to move to San Diego, just for a daily... More

Recommended to us by Ike of San Diego Fly Rides, Zanzibar is a great breakfast spot. We sad outside. The mimosa sampler was FANTASTIC. Food was great - I had the Eggs Benedict & my BF has banana bread. GREAT place for breakfast. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry, so no big deal.

In San Diego for a week and dined her twice. The breakfast options are perfect and the price is right. The vegetarian chili is a must for lunch or dinner. Loved the Quiche selections. Half ot the area is a take-out/deli counter with wonderful foods and desserts. We picked-up our breakfast items here. The management, staff and chef should be... More

Happened upon this place while walking the neighborhood bars and popped in for some food and another quick drink. Very nice range of appetizers and small plates on the menu, everything we tried was good and the drinks were well executed as well. Space was easy to come by in the evening, making it a great option for a quick... More

Just happened to be nearby to the office we were working out of for a business trip. Had a fabulous sandwich and the salad that came with it was yummy. Will definitely be back next time to try the macaroni and cheese...as it was too large for just me. I really liked the ambiance and the fact that they had... More

I came here for a late breakfast and was not disappointed. The benedict was great and the coffee was delicious. The waiter was friendly and attentive. I would return when in town again.
