Great night time spot, friendly staff and good fun all round. I was introduced to the venue by friends and would visit again.
Club Cafe has evolved over the years from a local hangout for the LBGT set to a swank and sassy destination with great food and atmosphere. The staff is so friendly and service is always good. Club Cafe is my go to place when in town when I want to feel comfortable and energized by the surroundings. Have a bite,... More
What a great scene, nothing beats it for people watching. Good food, and the Sunday brunch is reasonably priced. The entertainment in the lounge is terrific, although can get a bit crowded and noisy at times in the restaurant. Parking can be tough and it's a good idea to have a reservation on weekends if you don't want to wait... More
Club Cafe on Columbus Ave is conveniently located to the Newbury St shops and to the Lyric Stage and, a bit further away, the Huntington Theatre. The restaurant has various sections. One small section has piano entertainment. Another section lets you sit in the windowed area at the front (and is quieter). The food prices run from low teens to... More
Nice place. A hopping gay bar attatched gets going after 10PM. Food is pretty good. Not gourmet, but the fish is pretty much done just right. Prices are quite good. About $80/couple appt/dinner/dessert.
I visited Club Cafe several years ago, but only for the nightlife. They have great shows. This time around my girlfriend and I decided to dine in. Back Bay is busy on the weekends, so I decided to make a reservation on opentable.com for 9pm. Because of parking we didnt arrive until 9:30pm.(The place was pack) I explain the situation... More
Free nightly entertainment and weeknight 2-4-1 entees make this place an unbelieveable value, and the new chef has raised the bar on quality of food. Unfortunately the handsome servers are not necessarily the most attentive.
I've not been to Club Cafe in several years; it, in my mind, had gone through a rough patch. I was pleasantly surprised by both the food and table service. We were looking for a light dinner as we were headed to a birthday party later on. We shared a big plate of nachos to start which was excellent. We... More
I've eaten here consistently over a 10 year period and I've found that the food has improved significantly. I always find the dining area to be both cozy and perfectly suited for a good time with friends. However, if you are there to eat later into the night, it can be a little raucous with the dance club going on... More
I always think of this place as more of a club/disco then restaurant but either way it is a lot of fun. Visited this establishment twice in the last month and enjoyed each visit. The crowd on Saturday night is a little odd. Mixture of gay/straight in the disco that trends more gay as the night goes on. Preppy/mature adult... More
