We had just gotten to Boston and needed a place to eat at 11:30 on a Thursday night. Waiter was ok but not overly friendly. Chips and salsa were good but not best salsa we have had. We had tacos al carbon with chicken and one with steak. They were tasty although the chicken and steak were hard to find.... More

We were in the area and spotted this restaurant. My daughter is a picky eater but loves Tex-Mex and it's hard to find from our experience in New England. I didn't like that it is located downstairs like in a basement with no windows. We ate at 11 am and we were the only ones in there and it remained... More

I came to this place with high hopes but I was very disappointed. I ordered a chicken taco salad, and they initially served it to me without any chicken or any of the toppings. I think it's really sad that I had to point out to them that the toppings were missing. The corrected salad was bland and didn't taste... More

My girlfriend and I dropped in here for a meal after viewing their menu outside, to my delight it was a downstairs restaurant which in my opinion gives a more intimate and relaxed setting, the waiter was very attentive and kind from start to finish and checked on us a couple of times throughout our meal to make sure everything... I've been to Zuma Tex-Mex twice with friends in Boston. The food is average for tex-mex and reasonably priced for what you get. I think of it as you get what you pay for. Last night I ordered a $2 chicken taco and it was small and I suppose worth $2, but nothing more than you'd expect. The chips and... More

It seemed that everything closed down early that night because of freezing temp and rain, but this place was packed with people looking for drinks, conversation and good food. We were not dissappointed and the waitress was soo friendly and nice, I even stated to the mgr that this gal was an asset.

The margarita's and chips with salsa are some of the best around! Went with the house margarita and sometimes they can either taste like dirty water or like cheap tequila, but these were perfect. The chips were super fresh and the salsa was awesome! We did order lunch and I can't say we were impressed, not much flavor. Our server... More

stopped by here for a couple drinks and snack while in Boston. Its in the lower level so its dark so no good people watching like at other restaurants in Quincy mkt but we really enjoyed ourselves here and I wasnt expecting that. We had tried the other mexican fancy place across the way but it was as Bostonians would... More

Very disappointed. The guacamole was brownish, and for sure squeezed out of a bag. The fish taco was super lame. I had to look for the fish because there was very little of it included. The beans and rice were good. The bathroom had a line that continued on into the restaurant. I'm assuming there was only one stall??? The... More

We went at Christmastime for a quick snack/beer. We ordered drinks and 10 minutes later, the waiter told us they were out of the beers we ordered so we re-ordered. He then came back to say they were out of those, too. After the third try and 20+ minutes, we all had a beer. The food we ordered took almost... More
