Funky, fun and tasty! Great Jamaican food--plenty of variety so everyone can find something they like. Great atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable. The service was very good as well.

A great neighborhood restaurant that offers excellent and affordable food. Very popular with the locals in Asheville and it definitely gives you a feel for the natives of the area. The food was so very tasty and the prices were more than reasonable. They have outdoor seating which makes it even more special. A great find!
This little place serves flavorful Jamaican dishes, and as a vegetarian I was very pleased that many of the entrees offered tofu as an option seasoned with the same jerk spices as the meats. Entrees come with a nice salad with very tasty dressings and seasoned bread. Many entrees allow you to order the amount of heat you want in...

This is my second review of Nine Mile because it has to be the best food I have ever eaten. Seriously, My husband and I considered going back two evenings in a row and ordering the same thing.
I found Nine Mile to be not only very good but affordable. A short wait and we had our seats. Each entrée comes with a salad and natty bread. I wanted more of the bread. We had Pressure Drop and Cool Runnings and both where good. If you are not too hungry you could share. A good, fresh meal for...

Our party of 4 contained 2 who like it spicy and two who don't and we were all very happy with our food choices. Many of...

Saw the review on tripadvisor and it sounded different. It was and the food was amazing. I had the Cool Runnings, chicken with a fabulous sauce, rice and black beans. My wife had Nine Mine, pasta with a great light spicy sauce. You have option of spicy or not.
Seldom do we find 2 outstanding dishes, but we did here....

What can I say, only in town for three days and dined here twice! The food was really good, the beer cold and the coconut cake to die for.
A very different place which is laid-back and relaxed. Loved their cider and top-notch food. The place may be small but don't be fooled... you feel like you'll step out and see an exotic beach to match their food :)
Cajun inspired Asheville restaurant that doesn't disappoint! This place is a great neighborhood spot to grab a bite to eat and the lunch menu is an excellent deal. We had the Cool Runnings and the Raggy Road, both were great. The spice level can be intense so make sure you ask for mild if you're not much for spicy food....
