The food is great, the servers too and during the week you do not have to wait as across the street at Mama's. I had coffee, orange juice, fruits and scrambled eggs and everything was just perfect!

This bakery makes probably the best Focaccia bread in the world outside Italy.
Its not only the bread, buying it is an adventure! :)

They always sell out before you think they might, but it's well worth getting up and out a little early to make a purchase to enjoy all day long. Best EVER.

If you're in North Beach stop at the Liguria Bakery and grab a focaccia square to go! It's so delicious, as greasy as it should be. Every bite reminded me of my summertime vacations in Cinque Terre, Liguria. Just go with the plain, no need to add extra flavors.
The only thing special about this standard bearer of the Italian Flag is the focaccia and despite the plain exterior, interior or the brusque acknowledgment that you even exist, you indeed are there just for that, the focaccia! Focaccia bread, muffins, scones and biscotti... all wonderful. We ate on the focaccia bread for days. LOVE the smells in the store...
This wonderful bakery is accoss the street from mama resturant where you will be in line a hour. Get a piece of Foccacia to share from Liguria in seven varieties. My favorite is jalapeno and cheese or Pizza!! Simply the best you will ever have and you may just pig out and skipped the hour wait~~~
Nestled in the Italian section of San Francisco (known as North Beach), Liguria Bakery offers authentic Italian baked goods and treats. Their breads and foccacia are very popular and often sell out. This place is categorized under restaurants on Trip Advisor, but it is just a small bakery. Delicious food and pleasant service!
