The food at Cha Cha Cha was really good - we had the fried plantains, cajun shrimp, chicken in mustard/cream sauce and the veggies. All delicious and well prepared. Service was okay - servers walked around with an air of relative indifference and barely seemed to engage with each other or their patrons. Perhaps they were having an off day.... More

This place has a decor that cannot be adequatly described: latin kitch, I supposed. One can find almost anything on the walls: icons, dolls, latin textile, tools and many other things, whose pupose one can only guess... The foos is good, in particular the ceviche - fresh, well seasoned and enough to share for 2 or 3 people. Quesedillas are... More

We were on a bus going up Haight Street on our way to Golden Gate Park when we heard a woman loudly recommending Cha Cha Cha as having the best calamari in the world. We thought we'd give it a try for lunch. We approached with some trepidation as it didn't seem to be open. We tried the door and... More

We had fun. great food, moderate prices, beautiful decor. Will return on my next visit. we shared a lot of plates. the casadia is recommended, it comes with a nice salsa and sour cream and both chicken and pork fillings are good. He shrimps were the least interesting portion so save these bucks for another portion. the Sangeria is nice... More

Hopped off a hop on hop off bus in San Fran to check out the Haight Ashburry district. Cool vibe neighborhood that almost feels like the villiage in NY. Eclectic crowd, bars and restuarants. Decided on Cha Cha Cha after walking around a bit. We liked the idea of tapas as it was later in the afternoon for lunch and... More

Four of us turned up at about 7 on a Saturday night without booking. We were told we would have about an hour and a half's wait, which was fine considering. Once there, the atmosphere was great, and the service prompt. Being English, my experiences of tapas has always resulted in me feeling slightly underfed and overcharged, as the dishes... More

Very eclectic decor and great staff. Three of us came in for lunch on a rainy weekday. We tried some of the tapas plates and sandwiches. Plantains were great. Calamari was just okay. Nice music but a bit loud for easy conversation. Attentive staff. We couldn't eat all of our food.

Great place in the Mission /district to get into the party spirit. The drinks are wonderfully prepared, the menu is eclectic with small and full plates serving up fried calamari, grilled steamed mussel, steak with rice & beans, juicy hamburgers, etc. There is a huge bar that runs down the middle of the restaurant flanked by small dining tables. The... More

The food was soooooooo delicious. Loved the muscles especially. The drinks were very tasty as well. The only negative is that it gets extremely loud in the restaurant. You may have to yell at your date to be understood.
