If you like Chinese, Thai or Indian food, you must try Burma Superstar. The Tea Leaf Salad is great. Biggest issue is that they don't take reservations and lines can be long depending on the time of day.

Friends who'd been to SF recommended Burma Superstar!! Thank Homer they did!! The Rainbow Salad (22 ingredients) was phenomenal!! We stopped in for lunch, they other dishes included curries which were good, strangely, it's the salad I remember most!!
Thanks to other reviews, my husband and I decided to try this restaurant for lunch. It was superb. We arrived at 11:30 on a Tuesday morning and were seated and served immediately. We were able to park in front of the restaurant at metered parking ($2 an hour).
We shared a tea leaf salad, mu-shu pork appetizers. Would definitely order...

Long wait for large groups. The restaurant itself was not that large but we called 1.5hrs ahead for a group of 10. There is a sister restaurant if the wait here is too long. Everything we ordered was delicious! (samusa, tea leaf salad, calamari, mango shrimp, walnut shrimp, nan gyi dok, spicy/crispy chicken, braised pork belly, coconut rice..and desserts.. YUM)
Whenever I have guests visiting, I always make sure I bring them here and so far, they have enjoyed it as much as I do! This place is really a must eat for everyone, especially foodies. My most favorite entrees are Chicken and Shrimp Casserole and Pumpkin Pork Stew. Their Tea Leaf salad is very refreshing and the blend of...

San Francisco has a lot of food choices, but do not miss this one! You can't go wrong with any choice from the menu. And the staff is helpful and nice. I ordered the Rainbow salad, and sampled the tea leaf salad, the coconut rice, garlic broccoli, citrus chicken, samusa soup....All of it excellent!
Well what can I say, I stumbled across this place whilst revisiting my old stomping grounds in the Richmond district. It was packed but I got a single seat at the communal dining table. If you like to meet other friendly people this is the GO! Eggpland & tofu curry was excellent and I met a precosious 7 year old...

I'm a local, but I haven't been back here in many years! Came here with a friend on a Monday night at 6:30 and waited 30 min before being seated for dinner. We ordered a side of coconut rice, tea leaf salad, samusa soup, chili lamp, and pumpkin pork curry. We were super stuffed, and I got to take home...

I really enjoyed my food from Burma Superstar. We had a tea-leaf salad, chili-shrimp and a vegetable curry. Get there before 6pm for dinner if you don't want to wait.
