We went here for Sunday brunch because it looks like a Sunday brunch place, but they do not do brunch. So we had lunchier things that were good enough. Everything was perfectly average about it. It appears to think of itself as hip, although it struck me as, again, perfectly ordinary. I gather there is little or no competition in... More

I've been twice and have had two very different experiences. First let me say, I have tried to eat there on more than two occasions but the wait was too long for my 13 year old. This place is always crowded. We went at 6pm on a Sunday night and the wait was over 30 minutes. I'm not sure if... More

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at the hotel I was staying at in Quincy. The atmosphere was fun and I loved the decor. My friends tried the mac and cheese. I tried the tuna entree. It was delicious! I would definitely order it again. Great restaurant. My only complaint is that the waitress seemed to not want to... More

Have heard rave reviews of this tiny cramped restaurant that our first disappointing visit was chalked up to an off day. But tried again and again was disappointed. Menu reads fine but actual food is much less than as described. Bland, very 'lean' on the special ingredients, plus a mound of fries to try to make it all better. One... More

This restaurant has the feel of being the "it" restaurant. The food is VERY good and the wait staff enthusiastically presents like the spotlight is on them, which makes the customer feel like they are somewhere special. We had the barbeque wings and the pork nachos for apps, which were delicious though maybe with a bit too much garlic (fumes... More

I really enjoyed my experience at the Fat Cat.The sever was attentive for the most part. My friend and I go a nice seat as well. I got the buffalo chicken wrap with blue cheese and DELICIOUS fries on the side. The wrap was so darn delicious I wanted another one after I had finished. The fries were crispy on... More

Been here now 5 or 6 times and its always nice to return. A buzzy, busy, welcoming vibe at this Quincy MA bar. You do not come here for health food. You come here for comfort food. And you are treated with tasty dishes, an excellent selection, large portions, good prices, and an eager staff. The Mac'n Cheese is massive,... More

I have been here a number of times and the food has always been amazing. The staff always takes time to discuss the menu in detail and are very attentive for a small, busy place. Recommend to get there early as there always semms to be a wait (hint: means the food is good).

This place was less than mediocre. After hearing from friends that this place was"great," my boyfriend and I went to try it out. First of all, we were seated at a tiny table pushed up against the wall (do they think thid is the north end?) Waiter was pleasant. We ordered the lobster mac and crab cakes, as that is... More

Was recently in Quincy for work and a co worker and I grabbed a bite at the Fat Cat. Wow do they get busy!!! We were told 30 minute wait, however things went quicker then expected and we were sat in less then 15. Server was friendly and quick and the food was very good. I just got the burger... More
