We only popped in for a drink while waiting on a table at another restaurant. That table became available way too soon. I would have enjoyed hanging here for awhile. Guess I'll have to go back someday!

Not sure if this place actually had a roof or not. It seemed to be just a series of large outdoor decks built around large trees. Colored lights strung all over the place and large outdoor projector TV's showing football. GREAT place to hangout.
We happened to visit this pub because it was close to where we found a parking space. I had their burger, which I thought was the best I had had in the USA and my wife had a very good salad. A lady dining alongside us said that she had had the best clam chowder outside of The Black Pearl...

Quaint interior, excellent food, very friendly staff. We stumbled across this little pub. The fried clams were fantastic and everything we tried on the menu was outstanding. They knew we were tourists but treated us like locals. Made the experience very memorable.
Avoid the rude tourists at this local hangout. Have the delicious tots! Save some in your pocket for later.
Stopped in the Dog and Pony Tavern last Sunday with family and friends after they participated in the Mount Desert Island Marathon. This is a great sports bar hangout that has the NFL package so you can request any game that is playing. It is first come first served for game choices so be aware, but they can have about...

Stopped in for the advertised lobster roll. It turned out to be a hot dog bun with a piece of lettuce, topped with a small amount of lobster meat and chips on the side. The clam chowder was strange tasting, with a sour flavor. What a rip off. This place has a very nice deck to sit outside. Seems like...

The husband and I ate here one night we came back into town late. We seen that they do late night food and drinks so decided to stop by. Good food with big portions, the chicken nachos were amazing! Also the buffalo chicken sandwich was good as well.
Local spot, great for drinks at night. Surprisingly, my husband ordered jambalaya- and it was good! This place is great, not the place id bring a family for dinner, but that may be because we arrived at about 9 pm and it was in full bar swing. It was fun though, and again, the food is apparently good.
Showed up around 5:30pm for dinner with family in tow after a day of hiking. We were the only folks with kids in the place, but greeted warmly and promptly. Dinner was great - nothing fancy- just good burgers, chicken sandwich, and fried hadddock. All delicious at a reasonable price. Nice selection of beers on tap. The only con was...
