Overall the food was good, maybe a little heavy for fish and scallop dishes. They were out of several bottles of wine we requested. Staff was friendly.

My friend and I decided to check this restaurant out. Havana is very charming and comfortable The lamb shank is delicious and literally melted on our tongues. Some of the best I have eaten. The service is terrific. Enrique and Frank are outstanding servers. The owner also took time to stop by our table to say hello and thank us...

We were in Bar Harbor from Memorial Day through the following Friday. We atethinner at Havana during this time. It appeared to us that this restaurant gets a good share of its business from local folks which is probably a good sign.
Upon arrival we were seated promptly even though we did not have a reservation. The restaurant did fill...

We had dinner twice last week at Havana in Bar Harbor and will definitely be going back. The food with its Latin flair is really good and different from the steady diet of lobster that is everywhere in Bar Harbor. Over the two nights we had a salad, soup, scallops and crab cakes and everything was presented nicely and delicious....

We've been to Havana 4 times previously and it used to be our favorite restaurant in town. It had a creative menu with delicious Latin American flavors. Unforturnately, the chef has left and they have a new menu. The Seafood Paella isn't even a Paella. It's a bland, unseasoned risotto. Not that I have an issue with risotto, but it...

My husband and I decided to spend our first anniversary dinner at Havana and it was a perfect choice. The atmosphere is elegant, yet lively. The food was delicious with just a touch of Latin flair. I had the filet mignon which was one of the best I have ever had, and my husband had the rib eye, which he...

On May 17th, upon arrival after a long drive from Ottawa, Canada we made reservations and dined at Havana.
My wife and I had the Fish of the Day, halibut with fiddleheads and being fans of fiddleheads we decided to try it out. Glad we did as the combination was cooked to perfection and complemented each other. For closing we...

I was very disappointed in Havana. It was very expensive and lacking in taste. I had the scallops, which were on a bland polenta, and topped with soupy pico de gallo with little flavor. The side dish of champ was difficult to cut. All of this was $40 + with wine. Next time I am in Bar Harbor, I will...

We had been to this restaurant before and had a good experience. This was different. The staff was polite and the place was not crowded, however the food was inconsistent from the last time I was here and not in a good way. i found the steak to be less than stellar and our appetizers seemed to be pushing the...

I was quite surprised I have eated cuban food before but it wasn't my thing-- here the dishes were more traditionally prepared and they were really tasty. I loved the way they prepared my fish. I would recommend this place for the picky eaters.
