We had a very good breakfast and the service was very good. The only thing we had a problem with is that they did not open early enough. When we went on trips with the baby we left by 7:30

92 of the 97 current reviews for this restaurant are for a totally different establishment, a restaurant that no longer exists, except in name. A banner above the door states, "New owner, new management new menu." We we're looking for a bakery, and since it was late afternoon, it is hard to know whether it still retails bakery goods, or... We haven't been to Moana for years - but the last few months, friends have been telling us that it's under new ownership, there's a new menu that's awesome. We finally got there tonight, and 5-6:30, there's a great deal - a meal for $20 - you have choices for three things - salad/soup, entree, and dessert. I had the... More

It’s easy to miss out on a great meal at Moana because of the signage, which reads bakery and café. We ended up parking on Baldwin St. on a number of occasions, and each time, we walked past Moana because of the somewhat misleading sign. One day, my wife stopped at Sophie Grace and the artist, who was helping us,... More

Everything was good. We stopped in after biking down Haleakala with a group of 12. Service was prompt and friendly with water and coffee appearing quickly and then switching to Maui time. The kitchen consistently puts out quality food, home fries are killer, hot and crispy. I have been coming here for years and it's always a pleasure. The house... More

We went here for dinner and the food was excellent and reasonably well priced. The restaurant recently changed hands and the new owners brought in well trained chefs ... they are still a bit away from a great atmosphere and service, but the food and prices make it worthwhile.

We went for brunch a couple times. I had eggs Benedict with the yolks cooked hard. I do not like runny yolks so often don't order this because it seems to be hard to get it right but they did and it tasted great. They also have a yummy pastry display we were too full to get anything though.

so far this is our favorite restaurant on maui. :) for dinner we shared the puffed nori, organic mixed greens (salad), sea asparagus salad, and campanielle pasta. every dish was wonderful and the portion sizes were perfect (not too big, not too small). we lucked into getting there 30 or so minutes before happy hour wrapped up, so we also... My husband and I have been lunching at Moana Bakery and Cafe for three years running and will not even consider another restaurant...the food is so delicious and well presented we generally take photographs before digging in, but when we do begin to eat, there is no talking....just enjoying.:-).....the menu choices are imaginative and well priced....the service is fast and... Went there to listen to the live folk singer, and maybe a piece of bakery. My wife and I saw the menu and decided to share a dinner. There was no 'plate' charge, so you can call this cafe very retiree friendly. The food was gourmet excellent. We stayed for coffee and a piece of cheese cake. I know cheese... More
