The food was super! The price was one leg anyone arm's worth but the service was great! The menu was quite different with the variety of fish which we love.

If you are in Maui, skip the helicopter ride and spend your money on a chef's tasting at the Banyan Tree! It was an experience of a lifetime set against a breathtaking view. My fiance and I had a drink at the bar before dinner. The drinks were delicious and the service was outstanding. We were then escorted to our... More

My wife and I decided to eat here in our final night on Maui and it did not disappoint. The restaurant has a great view of the Ocean so if you do come, make you come while there is sunlight. Their sashimi appetizer was very fresh and tasty. We both ordered the Haku (Hawaiian Snapper) and it was one of... More

I was expecting more- first off we had two different servers and we were lucky enough for Robert to be one of them and he was super nice- I wish he could have been our server for the entire time- that being said- I ordered one of the fish dishes- I'm not sure what it was called but it was... More

Had a great dinner here at Banyan Tree (again). The service was excellent with a waiter who was very supportive and knowledgeable. Possibly the best Taiwanese pork buns (and most expensive) I've had. Fish was excellent and prepared perfectly. Wine recommended by our server was great pairing with our choices Overall, great food and great service.

My husband and I dined at Banyan Tree during our last trip to Maui, in December 2011, and very much enjoyed the experience. In February, we returned to the restaurant, only to be hugely disappointed. The service was atrocious. First, when we arrived, the host did not look up from what he was doing to greet us, until I politely... More

My wife and I have visited many of the better Lahaina restaurants but this was our first time at Banyan Tree. We had an early reservation so we could take advantage of the lovely view. We had a table next to the window. There was an event going on in an area nearby which resulted in background music for us... More

You have to see it to believe it. An ancient tree that shades an entire block and has traveling branches and walking roots.

Not only was the food out of this world, but I have never been treated like such royalty before. Its a hike to get to the restaurant - down a lot of stairs so not great for persons with disabilities. Very expensive but worth every penny!
