As usual we had to visit Kimo's when on Maui. We went as a very large group and Kimo's handled it all very well. The fish special was to die for, "Opakapaka". I want to know what they're using for marinade, somehow their dishes are so mouth watering. Once again we loved our dinner at Kimo's and will always visit... More

Had been there about 5 years ago and had a great experience. It was at the top of my list of resturants to be at sunset. That was not disappointing still great sunsets. Had to wait about an hour and a half for dinner, but that was okay, because they have a great outdoor area on the ocean. Bar tenders... More

We really enjoyed everything about Kimo's. Our server was very knowledgeable about the various fresh fish selections (menu does not identify type only preparation style). The mahi ceviche appetizer was sublime. Both fish dishes were spectacular and portions larger than some of the other spots we dined at. Prices are similar to Kaanapalli seafood.....location really makes this place special.

The food was nothing to write home about. Fish was tasty and fresh - steak was predictable. Live music and views were lovely. Probably not somewhere I would rush back to.

It is part of our routine. No matter how tired after arriving in Maui, the day ends with a trip to Kimo's. The food is consistantly good and the MaiTai's rank above the best. Staff is always friendly and the view at sunset is our welcome back. Visited 3 times on current trip[.

This place was not cheap, but we found the food to be very good, the service to be appropriate, and the atmosphere to be incredible - overlooking the ocean right in the middle of downtown Lahaina. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice oceanside meal, though you will spend a bit of $$$ to get it.

The location of this place is fantastic, right on the waters edge, with the waves crashing underneath. The food was delicious, we shared two meals a salad with shrimp, beetroot, macadamia nuts & goats cheese & a burger. they served each of them as half servings so we could share which was a great idea. The service was good &... More

We had made reservations for 7pm and got there an hour earlier- No problem. We were seated at a table on the varandah directly next to the ocean- the occasional spray was no problem. We enjoyed the sunset with special island cocktails. Our waiter J. was most attentive. We shared an order of cocunut shrimp as a starter. My husband... More

Kimo's was by far the worst of the nine restaurants at which we ate during our recent stay on Maui. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table although we had a reservation on a week night but that wasn't too troubling. However, then we were taken up to our table but it wasn't ready so we had...
