My wife and I had learned about this place on Trip Advisor and saw it also listed in one of the "Best of Kauai" books that we had read. We stopped by on our second day on the island and have to say that the great reviews are not an exaggeration. We did have to wait a while for our... More

Our first lunch in Kauai, and we weren't disappointed. For two cold sandwiches, great bread. Had to wait a while, but no big deal. Next to a Macy's and chain jeweler, so goofy atmosphere. Able to eat outside, which was nice. We only ate there once as there are so many other good lunch places, and didn't regret it.

Went here because of reviews and it was very good. Casual order first then back up to counter to pick up. Located in the Lihue mall. Lobster roll very rich but delicious. Bread bowl chowder was delightful as well.

Got the Lobsta' Roll. It was awesome! The help was just ok, but whatever. Bathrooms were around the corner next to Macy's Home. Steady stream of local customers and "Best pf Kauai" posters promise a good meal!

When you enter this restaurant it's impossible to miss all the signs displayed on the wall for their award winning food. I would like to suggest that they also be nominated for the rudest customer service on the island. We stopped in on Thursday, December 6th, about 2:30 in the afternoon. I don't know the name of the girl that... More

Not sure if management knows, but at least one employee doesn't like tourists. It was obvious since she didn't even look at us when we ordered and barely grunted in reply. The order was incomplete. We are courteous customers, so it was a surprise when we were treated as if they didn't want our business. The food has been reviewed... More

They make their own breads which taste great..... the sandwiches are fresh made... well worth a bit of a wait if you go at lunch time... love the clam chowder.

Great sandwiches! We decided to stop on our way back to the airport (there are few options once you get there) and after hearing how long the wait can be for non-locals, we decided to call our order in. My husband had no problem running in to pick it up, everything was ready to go. I had the lobster roll,... More

The Deli and Bread Connection is one my favorite places to eat. It's a step above Subways. They have a good variety of sandwiches to choose from. Everyone has their favorite sandwich. I recommend the Chicken Salad Sandwich on French Roll with Swiss Cheese and The "Works". Their New England Clam Chowder goes great with any sandwich. They even sell... More
