Open air restaurant, kind of a restaurant/bar, some of the best food on the north shore and the service is great. I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough. Shrimp taco's. Yumm! More

had dinner with family at kalypso during a rain storm in hanalei. The baja fish tacos are made with the catch of the day (Ono). They are incredible. It was fairly crowded but we only waited ten minutes for table. Very casual atmosphere and somewhat loud. However, the fish tacos are well worth the boise. I will go back. More

The food and service here was good but I would say you get what you expect. The menu mostly consists of fried food and massive meals. I went for lunch and had the fish tacos, they were definitely nice but the portion was so huge I could barely make any headway. I shared the coconut prawns and they were amazing!... More

We went to Kalypso after a long day of zip lining and a catamaran sunset sail from Hanalei. It was a happening place, but we got a table right away. The fish tacos were great! Efficient and friendly staff. More

We've tried to have meals and drinks at Kalypso's a few times. It's such a cute, island-looking restaurant. However, the food and drink have been consistently mediocre. It's too bad because Hanalei needs a good "beach bar"/sports bar restaurant. It does have "the look." Also, the staff seems to hang together at the bar and not paying attention to clientele.... More

Kalypso's has good food at decent prices. Great selection of local beer on tap. My husband and I eat there whenever we visit Hanalei and are in town for lunch. The nachos are very good but my absolute favorite dishes are the Fish Tacos and the Seafood Quesedilla. The service is very good most of the time and less so... More
