The bad...not a lot of places to sit especially since it was busy. 9 bucks is pretty steep for a waffle. But it was so thick and so good. There was a line out the door at first but I was very satisfied with how fast I got my food and it was delicious.

Good stuff, very friendly service and great local arts on the wall. I had the wired monkey and it was yummy and got me going in the am.

Great to find a good breakfast on the North Shore. We went on Saturday morning and it was quite busy. Outdoor seating, good waffle and great Chai.

Nice location. Very popular for morning coffee and people watching at any time. I heard the name mentioned many places I went, so it has a good local reputation.

My wife and I stopped here after hiking a portion of the Kalalau Trail. We ordered sandwiches which were simple, yet very tasty. The staff were friendly and the service was timely. Sitting out on their deck is a fun way to people watch in Hanalei.

Nice people, awesome french roast, killer cinnamon rolls, but you've got to get them before they're all gone by lunch!

Lots of seating and great coffee and fast service for those days when you want a coffee now. Great treats too and the food looked good as well.

We loved hanging out at Java Kai, not only enjoying their yummy food but also visiting with other vacationers. The pancakes, cookies, etc. were all so good. Don't miss this place for good coffee & eats!
